Who We Are
Kiddy Studio (KDS) is based on the foundation of Child Development, providing long-term and consistent classes for children ages over 2 years old. While in the time of brain blossoming, KDS emphasises on our children’s individual needs, facilitating them with developmentally appropriate practice. Through a playful environmental setting, children learn to work with their peers and caregivers. They explore and discover things on their own, which helps to develop regular behavioural patterns and independence. Most importantly, children can develop confidence !
What We Believe
At Kiddy Studio we value peer interactions, and focus on our children’s learning experiences. We appreciate the accumulations of the different stages of children’s early learning years. Through a mixed age environment (with teacher/student ratio 1:4~1:5), seeing children’s potential of reaching to their developmental readiness is the most exciting thing. We are certain that every child can grow naturally and beautifully like a tree!!!
What We Have
Our program starts from 9am and ends at 4pm. During the day, our children will experience different activities, including free play – where children have the freedom to be engaged in any area that draws their interest, whether it is independent or with their friends. Theme classes are based on our children’s developmental needs, and occur twice a day – ranging between many fun subjects including baking, animal class, gymnastics, gardening, and many more. Our children love to take initiative and ask a lot of questions. We are a bilingual school, so some classes are conducted in English, and others in Chinese.
What We Offer
Children’s thoughts, creativity and initiatives are our main focus; our setting and courses are based on children come first. Children are the centre of all designs. At Kiddy Studio your child’s social development is significantly considered. We offer a weekday program from Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Children attend class independently. The school year is divided into four seasons, with each season containing three months. Tuition is due at the beginning of each season.
Where We Come From
Kiddy Studio was established in late 2018 in DaAn District, Taipei City. During that time, we rented a yoga classroom. In February of 2019 we moved to Dazhi District, and rented a theme restaurant for children and parents as our main classroom. After 8 months, we moved to where we are located now. When we first started, we learned to let children play freely, and observed them gravitate towards activities that interested them. It was beautiful seeing how much children engaged into play with each other, simply through the same interests! These two dynamics later became the key points of our foundation.
